I visited Singapore for the first time in 2017 to run a race with my airline friends. This faraway island nation is one I never thought I’d visit. We had a blast taking in the culture, sights, and of course the food. Singapore is an aesthetic delight and so many contradictions. Modern, clean, sterile even, and also old, rich with traditions, messy and bustling. When you visit Singapore you must be sure to see more than Marina Bay (but definitely see that too!) To get a real feel for the place you’ve got to visit the neighborhoods– Little India, China town. The old and the new, the grit with the shiny.
